# Problem description and user needs

**Profile picture is not accessible.** 

Sometimes is hard to remember which is your current profile picture, because you just see it if you go to "settings".

**Individual chats vs. group chats.**

It can be a "nice to have" if we could access quickly to a screen of 'only individual conversations' without all the group chats that may be distracting you. As well as having an 'only group chats' if you want to find easily a group.

**Messages to an unknown number** 

There are times where you want to send a message to an unknown number, and it can be fastidious having to add it to your contacts and then looking for it in Whats App. Maybe it is a temporal conversation, or an unknown person you don't want to have as a contact, neither the possibility for it to see your profile picture and other personal data. Currently you can chat with unknown numbers, but it only can be if the person talks you first, or if you take the number from a chat group. Never a new number you want to type.

**Favorite contacts**

Currently it doesn't exist the "favorite contacts" screen, where you can have a list of your favorite or most frequent chats. If you have a lot of conversations, it can be hard to find an specific contact/chat unless you use the search bar.

**Contacts/acquaintances**

People usually have as default settings that their personal information, such as "last seen", "status" and "profile picture" can be seen only by their contacts, and not by the rest of the people. This can be because this information is personal/private and you don't want everybody to see it. But what about those people you have to add because it is important to have them as contacts (your boss, coworkers you don't have close relation with, a supplier).. We don't have the chance to hide this information from them (having them as contacts) unless hiding it for everybody.
